We are excited to present our first concert of the season as part of the "Musicians of the Guild" series through the Early Music Guild of Seattle. Our program will explore the sublime music of the French Baroque and Johann Sebastian Bach. Sumptuous solo and trio sonatas by French composers Marin Marais, Jean-Fery Rebel, Pierre Danican Philidor and François Couperin will complement those of Johann Sebastian Bach. Guest artist Joanna Blendulf (viola da gamba) joins the ensemble. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming concert! (Please see our Concerts page for more information).
The members of this ensemble are dedicated to the historical performance of Baroque music. They met as Master's students in the Early Music Institute at Indiana University in Bloomington. They graduated together in 2005 and have made beautiful Seattle their new home!
